Father & Son Golf Adventures (FSGA) has developed a complete golf event package to use with golf clubs to organize, promote and operate a first-class Father & Son Golf Tournament/Event.
The package allows the golf course to run a financially and programmically successful golf tournament with minimal effort. FSGA plans to work with over fifty different host courses throughout the Eastren United States this year to support golf, its players and the unique and special Father-Son relationship.

3. Confirm event details (Starting time, Green and Cart Fees, Food, Prizes, Promotion, etc.)

Golf Tournament Format:
18-Hole Championship Division 18 holes from white/red tees
6 holes Best Ball / 6 holes Alternate Shot / 6 holes Captain’s Choice
9-Hole Sportsmanship Division 9 holes from age appropriate tees
3 holes Best Ball / 3 holes Alternate Shot / 3 holes Captain’s Choice
Skills Competition:
Putting Contests (1) Long Putt (shortest combined distance from hole)
(2) 3 Ball Shoot-Out (most points)
Chipping Contests (3) Chip Shots (most points)
(4) Lob Shots (most points)
Range Contest (5) Short Iron Shots (most points) (Optional)
Short-game Golf Instructional Clinic (by Golf Club PGA staff)
Additional Event Features:
Father-Son Team Pictures (customized picture frame provided)
Participation medallion award for each junior golfer (12 and under)
Father & Son Golf Adventures give-a-way for each participant (Commemorative Father and Son ball markers)
Laser-engraved Award Medallions for all age-group winners

10:30 – 11:00am Registration
10:30 – 1:30pm Skills Competition Open
11:00 – 12:20ish Tee Times reserved for Championship Division (18 holes)…18 teams
12:30ish – 2:20ish Tee Times reserved for Sportsmanship Division (9 holes)…24 teams
Note: Depending on interest level, more or less tee times may be needed.
3:00 – 4:30pm Players finish their respective rounds (18 hole and 9 hole divisions); Skills Competition Re-Opens
4:30 – 5:00pm Awards Presentation

Full Family Division (18 Holes) Families that have more than two golfers can enter as a threesome or foursome.
This can be any combination of families members as long as it includes at least one parent.
