2011 FSGA Father and Son Myrtle Beach Golf Trip

The inaugural FSGA Father and Son Myrtle Beach Golf Trip was a great success.    Over 30 Fathers and Sons gathered together for 3 days of golf, fun and making memories. 

The Event was held at the beautiful Myrtle Beach National Golf Club.  The tournament included two rounds on the Myrtle Beach National South Creek Course and two rounds on the world-famous Myrtle Beach National King's North course.  Additionally, a father and son team skills challenge was held Thursday evening. 

The tournament was a tight contest with five different Father and Son teams close to the top.  The winning team was Tim and Caleb Martin closely followed by Bruce and AJ Stouffer, Tom and Kyle Templeton, John and Coop Hench, and John and Garrett Kennedy.  The 2012 tournament should also be an exciting and closely contested event. 

Daily closest-to-the-pin prizes were awarded and plagues were presented to the top three finishers.  In the end, everyone came out a winner as all the Fathers and Sons had a great and memorable 3 day adventure together.
